All this talk about DEI or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is like a step into George Orwell's book, "1984." It is about suppressing clear truths that may be offensive or unflattering in order to give preferential status for strongly or solidly Democratic Party constituencies!
Even a Rutgers Unviersity study recently found that while DEI programs claim to erase or reduce bias; in actuality they increase it, as well as racial suspicion and a type of policing that goes on, effectively putting non-preferred groups on the defensive or in a disadvantaged position.
Who is who in DEI? The privileged groups appear to be Women, American Indians (or the politically correct term of Native Americans or Indigenous Peoples), blacks (or Blacks or African-Americans, definitely not referred to as Negro), homosexuals and transgenders (or the term of LGBT to emphasize a deceptive "diversity", again defintiely not faggot or sodomite) and religions other than Christians and Jews like Muslims and the pagan narrative of American Idnians. The opporessed or 2nd class or lower class, which the DEI crowd would nervously deny or flip conveniently into "victim mode" when confronted or become more aggressive pointing out the past injustices against their prefrred groups to justify treating White, Male, Christian, Straigt, trump-supporting conservatives (WMCSTCs, as I say)like dirt.Convenient narratives like "whtie supremacy", systemic racism are designed to help keep WMCSTCs docile and on the defensive!
Even Pam Bondi, Trump's Attorney General nominee, used the "I am not going to be bullied by you..." against hard questions by Democrat Senate win, as a type of DEI tactic!
But it appears the pendulum is swinging back to reason as Sky News of AUstralia just reported that the FBI is closing its DEI office. Also, major corporations like McDonald's and Wal-Mart are also taking a step back. Costco, however, is holding the line using its board to self-righteously preach to shareholders to keep their DEI nonsense, in place!
Victor David Hanson called the California Janaury 2025 wild fires to be like" a DEI, Green New Deal Hydrogen Bobm" as the result of these bad policies!
Whether you like the, soon to be former, Biden Administration or not, you have no farther to look than the job of Press Secretary, to see the unfortunate and destructive impact of DEI! In Mid-January 2025, shortly before the Biden Administration fades into the sunset, there was a misguided and unfair (in my opinion) Israeli/Hamas hostage deal! Fox News reported that Biden's main Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre (the poster child of DEI as a black, LBGT, female) blocked Admiral John Kirby from filling in as spokesman about the deal. KJP, as an excessively nasty, petty, petulant, often averse to the truth, and often quite defensive of her turf or the false Biden propaganda, even when Kirby was much more qualified to speak on this deal!
What is the effect of a DEI culture? As we have seen in the Biden regime, the "casualty" of DEI is often candor and a clear and open discussion of problems and truths necessary to solve problems!
For example, in the field of strategic planning, a classic tool is a SWOT Analysis, which assesses an organization's strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities. If weaknesses and threats are sugar-coated, glossed over and/or ignored altogether, the strateigc mistakes made can be tragic! Perhaps, this can also be seen in another event form Janaury 2025, the Los Angeles-area wildlifes that have consumed thousands of acres and homes! MAny cliam California governments' (state and local and county) were so obsessed with DEI and enviromental and climate change prevention they did not address and adapt to the recent strange California weather, not really global!
During Biden's reign, I was interviewed at a major non-profit organization that claimed that DEI helped them to accomplish thier mission! Actually, as we have seen from the recent California wildfires and even the initial assessment of the New Years' terrorist attack in New Orleans by the FBI, I would argue DEI is an impediment and a roadblock to fulfilling the mission of most organizations, whether it be preventing or fighting fires in California or asseseeing terrprists threats by the FBI. OR as I noted, strategic planning and other disciplines can be undermined by stifling and candid assessmemets of facts, situations and people.
In summary, DEI is more about Conformity (of only Lefitst groups and views), Anything but Equity, and Exclusion of WMCSTCs. I pray the trend continues that DEI is pushed back with the advent of Donald Trump's 2nd term, in favor of FREEDOM, MERIT AND CANDOR...a diversity that includes not just Leftist groups but everyone--including unpopular and dissenting opinions!
